I found out that our first exam for my hardest class, Intermediate Accounting II, is on Step Sing Friday.

STEP SING FRIDAY.

I’m pretty sure Dudes A Plenty are going to be miners.  Get it?  Gold Rush?  That would cause a lot less fuss than making fun of Greek life.

Just got done with banner drop!  I was actually working at Campus Rec during banner drop so I naturally did a very long round down in Bashinsky.  I totally just got paid to go to banner drop.  So awesome.  And without further ado, I give you my initial predictions for Step Sing 2012.  They’ll probably change after I hear some more rumors fly around.

1. Freshman Girls - The Land Down Under - My automatic reaction would be Australia, but I’m not exactly sure how that would be pulled off.  Another thought would be a sort of “underworld” theme with demons, vampires, etc.  I really don’t think that would be Samford appropriate, though.
2. IGnite - None of Your Business - Nuns
3. AOPi - And They Lived Happily Ever After - I think it’s pretty straight-forward.  Disney
4. ZTA - Stomp the Yard - Oh wouldn’t you like to know, dear friends.
5. ADPi - The Scholarship - …librarians?  Maybe?
6. PiKapp - Hoodwinked - Robin Hood
7. Independent Ladies - Are You Afraid of the Dark? - Still working on this one.  Indies are pretty good about their secrets.
8. Freshman Ladies - The Five Ring Circus - Their banner read “Let the Games Begin.”  I’m thinking Olympics.
9. DAP - Rush - Dudes are usually very straight-forward with their banners, but they could always surprise us.  My first guess would be a satirical look at Greek life, which could be hilarious.  But honestly, I think it could create a lot of tension between the Greeks and Independents.  Maybe Rush could be referring to something else?  No clue 
10. Phi Mu - Into the Woods - Maybe its the theatre geek in me, but I’m thinking fairy tales.  The fact that it looks like AOPi is doing Disney isn’t going to be good for either group.  They might be too similar.
11. AAA and Gamma Sig - User Friendly - Maybe it’s straight-forward and is about the internet.  We will see, I guess.
12. Sigma Chi - Rise of the Phoenix - That’s another one I’m working on.  I would really love to see a show that incorporated mythology, but I really have trouble seeing Sigma Chi do that.
13. Chi O - The Factory - Willy Wonka?  I don’t really see them doing an actual factory.
14. UM - Ninja - If it’s anything other than Ninjas or some type of karate, I have absolutely no idea.

I don’t think I forgot anyone.  So pumped for Step Sing!

I just found out that I’m working a six hour shift today.  Six to midnight.  So much for a good night’s sleep before my first day of class.

My final grade for Philosophy was a 99.  I love Jan Term.
